Yet, If you’re up for the challenge you can climb one of Lebanon’s longest flights of stairs (at 788 steps) ,in Kaftoun a village in north Lebanon, nicknamed the Stairway to Heaven, the ride is as beautiful as the destination. On your way up, you’ll become more and more immersed in nature till all you can see are large stretches of lush forest from all angles.
